Clay and Powder

Face masks have traditionally been made with clays and muds because of their drawing effect on the skin.  Clays are very popular because they are so effective at clearing out the skin. Clays can help to  draw out impurities, bacteria, and sebum and can exfoliate dead skin cells and blackheads without friction. This is especially helpful to those people with acne or oily-prone skin. But even sensitive and mature skin can benefit from clays, as they are rich in minerals and acids that give the skin a clear complexion.

We use different powders to aid with brightening, antioxidant, calming and exfoliating properties. They all have their multitasking job to perform.

We have different blends of face masks so you can choose the right one for your skin type. Green tea extract powder

Green tea extract is considered to be a strong antioxidant even stronger than Vitamin C. There have been experiments done on polyphenols that is found in green tea that shows strong antioxidant properties. Antioxidants help to protect us from the free radicals. Free radicals are basically molecules with unpaired electrons, which makes them unstable and chemically reactive. When we are young, our cells harbor a defense system called superoxide dismutase (SOD) that helps fight these free radicals – but as we age, SOD doesn’t work so well. This allows the free radicals to damage our cells, and with time, these accumulated detrimental effects of free radicals show up as aging, fatigue, and other serious ailments. Antioxidants fight these free radicals and the resultant oxidative stress is quite simple – they neutralize the free radicals. This reduces their harmful effects on the cells. Because of the same antioxidants, green tea can help keep skin looking healthy and vital.

Like a magnetic sponge, it holds onto impurities and carries them out of the body for elimination. In addition, Bentonite clay also pulls hydrogen from cells, allowing room for oxygen. This helps with circulation, and overall skin tone and health. Bentonite clay is loaded with silica, a trace mineral that strengthens connective tissue and in addition, it makes your skin super soft.
